McGinnity Robert J., Jr. “Bob” Age 87, of Avalon, peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2018. Beloved husband of 67 years to Shirley (Moran) McGinnity. Father of Gary (Christine) McGinnity, Scott (Susan) McGinnity and Laura (Anthony) Dubato; grandfather of Heather (Steve) Rosfeld, Ian McGinnity, Nicholas (Jeanette) Dubato, Michael (Julie) McGinnity, Megan McGinnity, Anthony (Shelby) Dubato, , and Kaitlin Dubato; great-grandfather of Anne Rosfeld and Matthew McGinnity; uncle of Doug (Lala) Miller and Cheryl (the late Wayne) Tringl; brother of the late Sally (the late David) Miller.

Bob served in the National Guard, served as an auxilliary policeman for the Borough of Avalon and also served on the Avalon Borough Council. Bob was a Civil War enthusiast and enjoyed attending Civil War events. He also enjoyed visits with his grandchildren, gardening and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate Fan.
