Newport, NH – Robert J. McNeil, Sr., 70, died surrounded by loved ones on November 9, 2018 at Valley Regional Hospital. Bob was born on December 18, 1947 to the late Roy and Rose (Temple) McNeil in Marlboro, MA. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, he worked for the State of New Hampshire for the Department of Transportation.

Bob will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, hardworking, and for his love of scratch tickets. A memorial visitation with military honors will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 3 to 6 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St. Newport, NH 03773.
