OBITUARY Robert John STOCK February 10, 1932 – September 14, 2018 Robert was a very special man to so many people. He was a family man, first and foremost. He worked hard to provide a good life for himself and his family.

He had a great but subtle sense of humor and loved his one-liners. Robert married the love of his life, Diane, in New York on June 6, 1959. They had a beautiful and loving relationship for nearly 59 years.

Over the years, they lived in many places and eventually settling down in San Diego, CA in 1969, where they raised their family. Robert worked for “The Department of Defense” as an Electrical Engineer and spoke often in retirement about how much he had enjoyed working on the ships. Bob and Diane also enjoyed a large group of great friends, met through the “Newcomers” group when they first settled in San Diego.

They enjoyed many activities with their friends inclusing camping, playing bridge, poker, costume parties, theatre and beach outings. The travel bug bit them in retirement and they took 25 cruises over the years to many beautiful places around the world. Robert is survived by his son Glenn (Sue) Stock, daughters Karen Stock, Cheryl (Gregg) Beaty and four grandsons.

Ryan, Tyler, Kevin and Collin. Robert will be truly missed. He is reunited with his beautiful wife, Diane, in Heaven.

A new chapter has begun.
