Obituary for Robert L. Guile Robert L. Guile, 90, passed away on Tuesday January 8th, at his residence on Route 67. He was the husband of the late Patricia Guile who died in 1992. Robert was born on February 16, 1928, in Cambridge, NY, son of the late Lester H. and Anna Monica (Flynn) Guile.

He attended school in Cambridge and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1954-1956. Robert was employed at the former Columbia Box Corporation, in North Hoosick, NY, as a forklift operator. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his children Timothy M. Guile, Robert M. Guile, Thelma R. Young, Michael J. Guile and George M. Guile, his brother John Guile, also survived by twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Betty. Military Honors will be held on Friday January 11th, at 3:00 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.

Burial will be in the spring at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
