Obituary for Robert L. Lampmann ROBERT “BOB” L. LAMPMANN, 58 of Madrid, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at Great Plains Health in North Platte. Bob was born June 8, 1960, at Hastings, Nebraska to Emil and Bernita (Wilson) Lampmann. He attended Sandy Creek High School, where he graduated with the class of 1978.
He attended college in Hastings, where he studied construction and Ag Business. On September 20, 1980, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Sondra “Sonnie” Onken. The couple made their home in Grant in March of 1981, where they farmed southeast of town.
To this union, Bob and Sonnie had 3 sons, Brandon, Seth and Chase. Bob had a passion for farming; his work was indeed his hobby. He also kept busy over the years working on construction projects, which he managed to balance with his farming operation.
Bob had a laid-back personality and loved to have fun. As any good grandpa, he cherished the time he got to spend with his grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, and an infant sister, Barbara.
Survivors include his wife, Sonnie of Grant; his sons, Brandon (Ciara) Lampmann of Grant, Seth Lampmann of Los Angeles, CA, Chase Lampmann of Fairfield; 3 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Tristyn, Caidyn all of Grant; 2 brothers, Jimmy (Roxie) Lampmann of Grant, Larry Lampmann of Inland; sister, Kristy (Dan) Koss of Ankeny, IA; along with many other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Grant United Methodist Church with Rev. Lorri Kentner officiating. Cremation will follow the service, with Bob’s cremains to be scattered on the family farm near Trumbull.
