Robert “Lavern” Standlee February 17, 1937 – March 05, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Robert “Lavern” Standlee, age 82, of Golden, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Cassville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 17, 1937 in Berryville, Arkansas, the son of Oral and Ruby (Barker) Standlee. Survivors include one brother, Elwood Standlee and his wife Donna Kay of Golden, Missouri; one nephew, Dr. J.C. Standlee and his wife Kim of Jefferson City, Missouri; one niece, Donnel Armstrong and her husband Mike of Berryville, Arkansas; one brother-in-law, Virgil Jones; Rayma King of Green Forest, Arkansas with whom he had a special courtship, and special friend, Clyde Lunn of Golden, Missouri.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Louise; one brother Clifford and one great niece Kaylin Armstrong. Lavern grew up and received his education at Golden graduating from Cassville High School in 1955. He was a life-long resident of Barry County where he was a self-employed cattle farmer.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice Compassus. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
