Robert Emil Neumann, 88, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Lubbock, TX. He was born on October 31, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Mildred (Neubauer) Neumann and Adolph Neumann. Funeral services will be held at the Shepherd of the Plains Lutheran Church on Friday September 7, 2018 at 12:30 PM in Lubbock, Texas.

Pastor Cares will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Agapé Funeral Chapel from 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 6. Robert graduated from high school in Chicago and continued his education at Concordia Teachers College and Concordia Theological Seminary.

He served his Lord as a Lutheran minister for all his working life. He served congregations from Manitoba, Canada to N. Hollywood, California servingthe remainder of his years in Texas. He married Dorothy Chambers Neumann on May 18, 1958.

Survivors include daughter, Ruth Ann Giovannetti, of Lubbock; son. Jonathan Neumann, of Lubbock, and four grandchildren, Francesca, Jeremy, Thomas, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy.
