Robert O. Lake, 77, of Wooster, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Wayne County Care Center. Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jamie Rickard officiating.

Robert was born September 21, 1941 in Antrim, Ohio to Albert D. and Nettie {Lyons} Lake. He married Donna Brown on September 25, 1965. Robert worked for Akron Brass for 32 years before retiring in 1998.

He was an active a member of North Wooster Baptist Church, where he served as an Usher. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors. Robert will be deeply missed by his wife; children Angela (Curtis) Frary of Big Prairie, Amie (Dan) Love of TN, Jason (Shannonn Marshall) Lake of Ashland, Adam (Amie) Lake of TX; grandchildren Zeph (Alysha) Frary, Rebecca (Dillon Scott) Frary, Alexis Kauffman, Jewelionna Snyder, A.J. Lake; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers William (Debra) Lake of GA, Larry (Carolyn) Lake of Brookville; sister Connie (Bruce) Geese of Cambridge.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald Lake and sister Barbara Lake.
