Robert C. ” Poker Bob” Schluter, age 74 of Portage, formerly of Pardeeville, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born on March 21, 1944. Bob married Karen Dolgner on April 2, 1966.

He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years, but most recently worked as a driver for ADRC. Bob loved spending time with family and friends including his morning cappuccino’s in the gathering room with friends, family get togethers or spending time walking his beloved dog Bentley. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years Karen; his daughters, Kris (Gary) Schluter and Danete (Randy) Godsey; his grandchildren, Alec Schluter, Courtney (Tyler) Schluter and Emily Patterson; His great Grandchild, Tinsley Schluter; his brothers, Will Schluter and Ernest (Joan) Schluter; sisters, Laurel Chapman and Janey (Harley) Furrer. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held in July, information will be forthcoming.
