, age 85, died Friday, January 18, 2019. Memorial service will be conducted Monday at 3:00 P.M. at Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Wade Parker.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 until 3:00 P.M. Mr. Owens was a member of Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church, a veteran having served in the Korean War, and was the former owner of the Maccripine Retirement Home. He was preceded in death by brothers, Dr. William L. Owens, Travis Kenneth Owens, and Raymond Carlton Owens; and son-in-law, Donald Harrell.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Owens Harrell of Fountain; brother, Wilton Gene Owens and wife, Carol Lou of Macclesfield.
