Obituary for Robert Savala Robert Savala (60) of Toppenish passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at the UW Medical Center in Seattle. Robert was born on Thanksgiving day November 28, 1957 in Toppenish to Manuel and Lorraine (Smith) Savala. He was raised and educated in the lower valley and worked for the Yakama Nation for many years.

He enjoyed hunting and spending time in the mountains. He is survived by four children, Sara Savala of Federal Way, Elena Savala of Toppenish, Robert Savala Jr. of Toppenish and Andre Savala of Yakima; ten grandchildren; a brother, Larry Carranza of Toppenish; two sisters, Carolyn Ortega of Kent and Clarice Vasquez of Palm Springs, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held at Heggie’s Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 12PM. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Robert Savala please visit our Sympathy Store.
