Obituary for Trudi Lee Clark Trudi Lee Clark (55) of Wapato passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital in Yakima. Trudi was born on August 6, 1963 in Toppenish to Martin and Sally (George) Hannigan. She was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation and was raised and educated in White Swan.

She worked as a office assistant for many years for the Yakama Nation and most recently was an accounts receivable/bookkeeper for Yakama Power. She had been an EMT and a firefighter. She enjoyed making baskets, gathering traditional foods, fishing, playing stick games, music, traveling and rooting on her Seahawks and Mariners.

She was a strong advocate for murdered and missing women. She is survived by her husband, Gary Clark; two daughters, Tashina Thomas and Staci Sam; four grandchildren; six brothers, Wendall Lee, Lee Hannigan, George Lee, Isaac Hannigan, Martin Hannigan Jr. and Marvin Hannigan; five sisters, June Williams, Mabel Pacheco, Marian Dave, Debra Gardee-Lee and Julia Skwanqhqn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

Dressing services will be held at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse on Thursday December 27, 2018 at 2PM with overnight services to follow. Funeral services will be at sunrise Friday at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery. Heggie’s Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
