He is survived by his father Robert Cabazos Sr.; siblings Kenny and Brian Cabazos. Shawn enjoyed baseball and cooking. He worked as an usher for the Colorado Rockies for 20 years.

His family described him as very easy going, big hearted, and funny. He especially loved his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
