Robert William Stout, age 97, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Timbercrest Senior Living Community in North Manchester, Indiana. Mr. Stout was born in Bluffton, Indiana on January 30, 1922 to Robert Fountain Stout and Lela Dale (Crouse) Strout. He was a WWII United States Navy veteran and stationed in Germany and Pearl Harbor.

He married Elizabeth LaVonne Mitchell on August 1, 1959 at Freedom Church in Jennings County, Indiana. Robert was a shoe salesman for 54 years with B & B Shoes in Columbus and Warsaw, Indiana. Survivors include: Son, Robert Alan Stout of Columbus, Indiana.

Daughter, Cheryl Ann (Charles) Allen of Silver Lake, Indiana. Four grandchildren: Ashley (Arron) Trusty of Silver Lake; Eric Hile of Mentone; Erin Allen of North Manchester; and Addison Allen of Silver Lake. Five great grandchildren: Alexander Trusty, Nathan Trusty, Chloe Trusty, Kent Trusty, and Sophia Hile.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Faye Jordan in 1957. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Victory Christian Fellowship, 112 West Main Street, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will also be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Victory Christian Fellowship, North Manchester with Pastor Tim Morbitzer officiating.

Burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake, Indiana.
