Obituary of Robert Pittman Robert Lee Pittman, age 90, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 in Owasso, OK. He was born on October 22, 1928 in Sterling, OK, the son of Robert and Lagatha Hudson Pittman. He married Ruby Wendt on June 10, 1951 at Forest Hill Baptist Church in Idabel, OK.

Robert enjoyed fishing, reading, working in the garden, and playing with the great-grandchildren. He served in the US Army for twenty-one years, including one tour in the Marshall Islands, two tours in Korea, two tours in Germany, and one tour in Vietnam. During that time he earned numerous Service Ribbons, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Bronze Star.

Robert retired as a 1SG, E-8, in August 1967. Graveside services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Idabel.
