Robin’s Obituary Robin M. Schiffer, 67, of Rapid City, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born on December 28, 1951 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Donald and Patricia (Kessler) Daly. Robin graduated from Rapid City High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English, Latin and Math in 1975.

She is remembered for her wit and intelligence. Even when her health issues were overwhelming, Robin had a on a smile. Her lifelong health battles made her the person she was.

Robin married Joseph Schiffer on September 6, 1986 in Rapid City. Robin enjoyed knitting, cooking, baking and travelling until she could do no more, with Joe always at her side. She worked at Rapid City Regional Hospital as a patient representative, for Blue Cross, Blue Shield and as a graphic artist in advertising, both in New York and Rapid City.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, Rapid City, her siblings; William (Cathy) Daly, Boulder, CO, Tim (Shelly) Daly, Rapid City, Sandy Daly, Minneapolis, Deb Daly, Rapid City, Donna (Barry) Degen, Rapid City and Marianne (Peter) Hasby, Rapid City, nieces and nephews; Alyson, Abagail (Cody), Brooklyn (Brad), Kyle, Samuel, Caitlyn, Ty, Nick. Luke, Benjamin and three great nieces and nephews; Hayleigh, Hunter and Kashton, her brother in law, Frank Schiffer, Minnesota and sister in law, Joyce (Mike) Husak, Youngstown, Ohio and a half brother, Pete (June) Evans, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, David and a sister in law, Chris.

A memorial will be established to the Black Hills Humane Society. A visitation will begin at 5:00pm, Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church followed by a Christian Wake service at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00am, Friday, March 8 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Interment will be at Black Hills National Cemetery at 1:30. Friends may sign her online guest register at www. osheimschmidt.com.
