OBITUARY Robin Wood King February 17, 1958 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Robin Wood King, 60, of Cary died at Duke University Hospital on July 13, 2018. Robin was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 17, 1958 to the late Edgar Marshall Wood and Bette Jane Orris. She was married to Byron King for 31 years.

Robin was a member of Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina and attended classes at Shepherd’s Theological Seminary. She was employed as a court reporter and retired after more than 30 years. Robin was also a children’s minister with Bible Study Fellowship and assisted with the ESL program at Colonial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Byron King; son Sean King; daughter Bette King; brothers Marshall Wood (Mary) and Robert Wood (Paula); sister Wendy LaBounty (William “Bill”). Services will be held at Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Rd. , Cary NC 27518 on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 4pm.

Visitation will be held prior to the service between 3 and 4pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Colonial Baptist Church.
