Roderick Jerome Simpson, Jr., 12, of Flowe St., Kannapolis, NC, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at his residence. He was born, January 6, 2006 in Cabarrus County to Roderick Jerome Simpson, Sr. and April Denise Allen. Roderick was home schooled and was in the 7th grade.

He was proficient in technology and was ranked 46th in the World in Playstation. Services will be held Saturday, June 9 at Bethel Baptist Church, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at church cemetery.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his mother, April Denise Allen of Concord; his father, Roderick Jerome Simpson, Sr. of Concord; two sisters, Sha-Licia Simpson and A’Leicia Simpson both of Concord; maternal grandparents, Joe & Sherry Allen of the home; paternal grandparents, Norris & Rev. Josie Caldwell of Concord; very special great aunt, Donna Rucker of Kannapolis; four aunts, Jennifer Allen, Jackie Hudson, Erica Caldwell and Felicia Caldwell; three uncles, Paul Allen (Kelly), Shaun Allen (Latoya) and Colin Simpson and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
