Obituary for Rodney A. Fernandez Rodney A. Fernandez was born on June 2, 1972 in Austin, Minnesota and went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Enriqueta Gutierrez. Rodney is survived by his parents, Raul Fernandez and Elizabeth Sotello – Guerra; loving wife of 24 years Jennifer Fernandez; children, Jaylee Fernandez and Brandon Fernandez (Serena Servantes); granddaughters, Aria Fernandez and Averie Garza; sisters, Georgette and Maria Guerra and beloved nephews and niece.

Alongside countless family and friends, Rodney was a family man and he raised that family alongside the love of his life Jennifer. He loved sharing his wisdom with his daughter and his love for hunting with his son. His grand babies were his pride and joy and he will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5-9pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a prayer service to being at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
