He was formerly employed as a Janitorial Worker for John Draper Cleaning. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Hill and mother Doris J. Sye Denby. He is survived by his sons, Roger Lockhart and Joshua Patterson; daughter, Dellevia Shockley-Kornegay; six grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse Walker, Jr (Sharon) and Robert Walker (Crystal); two sisters, Rose Taylor and Maxine Sye; and a host of family and friends.
