Obituary for Mr. Roger Eugene Hendl age 55, of Green Cove Springs Mr. Roger Eugene Hendl age 55, of Green Cove Springs passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Middleburg following an extended illness. Roger was born October 9, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Eugene “Gene” and Carole (Franklin) Hendl and had graduated with the class of 1980 from Clay High School. His passion for caring for others led him into a career of becoming an in-home care giver for many years.

Roger enjoyed watching religious stations on television with his dad and reading. Since he was devoted to his job and always working he would get on the computer so he could stay in touch with many friends. In addition to his parents, Roger is also survived by his brothers and their wives Kenny (Karla) Handl and Kurt (Betty) Handl all of Middleburg along with his aunts and uncles Johnnie (Don) Walsh of Green Cove Springs and Peggy (Tommy) Haire of Quincy.

He was also the best uncle to his nieces Gaby and Melonie, nephew Alan, great niece Rylee Kay “Bug” and great nephews Braylen and Little Kenny. There are no scheduled services at this time. In lieu of flowers Roger would love for donations to be made to any Pro-life organization.
