Rollie B. Nelson, age 97, beloved Band Director of Forest Lake High School for over 37 years, died peacefully, Sunday, January 6, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Laurie. He will be deeply missed by his children, Kris (Mitch) Sattler, Scott (Karin) Nelson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m., until the time of service at the church. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a scholarship to be assigned in his name.
