Ronald Allen Wolsky, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 4, 2018. He died peacefully in his sleep at home. Ron Wolsky was born on September 6th, 1933 in Carrington, ND.

Ron married his High School sweetheart, Arlene Schlosser, on June 20, 1952. They started life together raising cows and kids in Kensal, North Dakota. In 1969, they relocated their family and dairy to Corvallis, Montana.

In 1985, Ron and Arlene started Arron Care Home an assisted living facility. Ron was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Ron loved his family.

He spent countless hours attending sporting events, concerts, fairs, graduations, weddings, etc. Ron loved John Deere tractors and there wasn’t a tractor that he couldn’t bring back to life. Ron looked forward to going to coffee several times weekly with his friends.

Ron had a keen eye for quality dairy animals. He was a 4-H member and leader for over 30 years and he took pride in judging, showing and fitting award winning dairy animals. Over the years he took pleasure in watching his kids and grandkids benefit from his knowledge with animals.

He is survived by eight children, 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren: Mark (JoAnne) Andres, Farmington, MN, Jon and Nathan; David (Marie), Cando, ND, Kate (Devin – Hunter, Avery, Harper and Brynn) Tolstad and Bobby; Deb (Rick) Arnold, Park City, MT, Jessica (Dylan – Ryal and Abigail) Lancello and Andrew; Becky (Tom) Campbell, Corvallis, MT, Chris and Ben (Drea – Lauren and Elizabeth); Dori (Bret) Tintzman, Corvallis, MT, Brandon (Megan – Augustus and Eisley), Jenna (Billy – Lillian, Elijah and Nolan) Hendrickson, Justin (Courtney), and Tyler; DeeAnn (Dan) Cranmore, Corvallis, MT, Wesley (Jenny – Samuel), Whitney and Christa; Dan (Karen), Corvallis, MT, Matthew, Luke and Sydney; Tim (Sonja), Missoula, MT, Haley, Hannah, and Tristan; brother Jerry (Doris) Wolsky, Carrington, ND and his brother Leland (Karen) Wolsky, Kensal, ND. Also, many nieces and nephews. The family also hosted 5 Foreign Exchange students (Francisco, Michael, Janne, Joao and Siu) that became a special part of their lives.

Ron was preceded in death by Arlene, their son Chris and parents, Edwin and Lillian (Schroeder) Wolsky. Celebration of Life service will be held at Daly-Leach Chapel on Friday, October 12 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Hamilton, MT on Saturday, October 13 at 4:00 PM.

Memorials in Ron’s honor may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or the Sidewinders 4-H Club.
