Ronald C. Hackett, age 72, of Salem Lakes, WI (Wilmot) passed away Thursday morning, July 5, 2018 surrounded by family at the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Ronald Clifford Hackett was born on July 28, 1945 in Boscobel, WI, the son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Southerland Hackett. Ronald graduated from Boscobel High School.

On July 10, 1971, in Richmond, IL, Ron was united in marriage to Nancy W. Winn. Ronald lived in Twin Lakes, WI before moving to Wilmot in 1971. Ronald liked to think of himself as retired, however, was self employed as a Director of the family owned Wilmot Stage Stop, Inc. and A Gander Mountain Farm, Inc

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He coached softball, basketball and volleyball for Lakeland Little League and Wilmot Grade School. Ron enjoyed socializing with friends, however, his family, especially his grandchildren were his world.

He was a member of the Kenosha County Tavern League and the Wisconsin Restaurant Assoc. Ronald is survived by: his wife, Nancy; 2 daughters, Jill Hackett of Muskego, WI and Pamela (Frank) Heins of Twin Lakes, WI; 6 grandchildren, Molly Eisenhauer, Maci Jo Eisenhauer, Erik Eisenhauer, Evy Heins, Ryla Heins and Remy Heins; 1 brother, Walter F. (Shirley) Hackett of Kersey, Colorado; a brother in law, Charley (Julie) Winn of Ft. Myers Beach, FL and a sister in law, Ronda (Bruce) Roberts of Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wayne and Gale. The Hackett Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
