Sechler, 85, of Orefield, died Monday December 31, 2018 in At Home at Parkland, Schnecksville. He was the husband of Marilyn L. (Remaley) Sechler to whom he was married 63 years last July 2. Born in Fogelsville, December 16, 1933, Ronald was the son of the late Henry and Grace (Klotz) Sechler.

A two-term Road Supervisor, Ronald worked for North Whitehall Township for 15 years. He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, Community Fire #1, Schnecksville, and Fogelsville Fire Co. Ronald was a life member of the Copeechan Fish & Game Club, Schnecksville. Survivors: In addition to his wife; daughter, Diane M. wife of Dean R. Schaller of Schnecksville; son, Daniel R. Sechler at home; grandsons, Jeremy and Brendan; great granddaughters, Emily and Samantha; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by siblings, Dale, Leanna and Lealand.

Service: A memorial service will be held 7:30 pm. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Union U.C.C., 5550 PA Route 873, Neffs. Visitation period from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.

Friday in the church narthex. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.
