Ronald Gary Mason, age 80, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:43 p.m., on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at his home. He was born August 9, 1938, in Spurgeon, Indiana to Henry Sutton and Inza (Nikon) Mason; and married Lois Tribbie on September 12, 1981, at the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial Chapel. Ron worked as a mechanical engineer for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing.

He was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper; and former member of the Spurgeon Baptist Church and Ridgecrest… Read More » Baptist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. Ron served in the Army National Guard; was a 50 year member of the Masons; and current member of the Winslow Masonic Lodge #260 F&AM and the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife, Lois Mason of Huntingburg; two children, Pamela Mason of St. Louis, Missouri and Gary Mason of St. Charles, Missouri; two sisters, Sharon Henke of Ellisville, Missouri and Ruth Ann Fowler of Silvis, Illinois; by three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services for Ronald Mason will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the Spurgeon General Baptist Church in Spurgeon, Indiana with burial to follow at the Spurgeon Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 18th; and also at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday. The Winslow Masonic Lodge will conduct a memorial vigil service at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday evening, at the funeral home.
