Ronald’s Obituary Ronald L. Nixon, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Madison and Ozella Faught Nixon; half-sister, Bonnie Peppers; half-brother, Marvin Nixon and daughter, Renee Overstreet. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nixon, brother, Rev.

Donald (Jewel) Nixon; son, Dewayne (Sheryl) Nixon; sisters, Brenda Perkins, Linda (Ronald) Tolbert and Lacine Collins; granddaughters, Megan and Emily; grandson, Michael and four great grandchildren, Lexi, Brantley, Mason and Carter. Visitation will be on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a service at 1:00pm at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sardis Grove Cemetery in Gardendale.
