Ronald Lyndsey Fonger passed away unexpectedly at the age of 51 at his home in Tooele, Utah on May 3, 2019. He was born on January 15, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Butch Fonger (Judy) and Vicki Rolfe (Dick). He graduated from Grantsville High School and later went on to Salt Lake Community College.

Ron started his career at Morton Salt in the early 90’s and worked there until his time of death as a mechanic. Ron had many hobbies like hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his friends and family which was his pride and joy. He enjoyed deer hunting with his sons, nephews and friends as well as going camping with his daughters and his nieces.

One thing Ron was known for was his generosity and his willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. He was always the life of the party and loved being with his friends. He is survived by his son Cole (Miya), his daughter Loryn and step children Nicole, Albert (Alyssa), and Collin also his grandson Aiden.

As well as his Mother and step father Vicki and Dick Rolfe, sisters Tammy Fonger (Earl) Cissy Fonger Morton (Sam) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Butch Fonger and brothers Kenny and Les Fonger. A graveside services will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Tooele City Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life for family and friends at 1:00pm at Copper Canyon Park, 265 W Slate Drive, Tooele, Utah 84074.
