CHICOPEE: Ronald O. Lacroix, of Chicopee, died March 3, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1935 on College Street in the Fairview section of Chicopee to the late Alfred and Josephine (LaChance) Lacroix. He was educated at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Western New England College.

Ronnie was a self-employed owner of the former Super Sales Company and co-owner of the Bobbin Shoppe. He was an avid golfer and played for many years at the Ledges Golf Club. Ronald is survived by his wife of 59 years Mary T. (O’Connor) Lacroix; two daughters: Karen Jordan (Alan) of Delaware, and Kristina Manniello (Raymond) of South Hadley; three grandchildren: Katherine Jordan Short (William), Christopher Jordan, and Ryan Manniello; a sister-in-law Catherine Breen; two nieces, and several cousins.

His sister Margaret Turcotte predeceased him as well as an infant brother. Family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 12:30pm in St. Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, for a Liturgy of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery, Northampton Street, Holyoke.
