Ronald “Ronnie” Ray Burgin, 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Norton’s Hosparus Pavilion in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on September 3, 1960 to the late Raymond Burgin and Josephine Lanham in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Ronnie loved anything outdoors, but he loved to hunt and fish the most.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and taking long drives through the country. Most Sundays you could find Ronnie Watching NASCAR. Survivors include his brothers, Arthur Burgin of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Henry Burgin of Jeffersonville, his sister, Bonnie Del of Jeffersonville, his son, Michael Burgin of Memphis, Indiana and his granddaughter, Emma Burgin of Memphis.

Ronnie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews from Southern Indiana and Kentucky who loved him dearly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg from 12:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will take place at Old Salem Cemetery in Charlestown.
