OBITUARY Ronald Willard Smith August 24, 1945 – November 27, 2018 Ronald Willard Smith age 73 of Speedwell TN, previously of La Salle MI, was born August 24, 1945 and passed away on November 26, 2018. Ronald moved to Taylor, MI after his service in the military to work. Shortly after arriving in Michigan he married his wife of 34 years, Barbara Pincheff in 1969.

He retired from General Motor Company after about 35 years and moved back to Speedwell, TN. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie H. Smith and Nola Price Smith, and step-mother Ruby Hopper Smith. Wife Barbara Pincheff Smith.

Daughters Dawn Marie Frances Smith and Roxanne Smith. Son Ronald Willard Smith Jr. Ronald is survived by his sons Kenneth Ronald Smith and Philip Ronald Smith. Daughters Rebecca Lynn (Josh) Frank and Sunday Gadberry.

Siblings Janis (Fred) Ratliff, Ann Gent, Debbie Sutton, Joan Brewer, Steve (Barbara) Smith, Bill (Katja) Smith, Anita Smith, and Dean (Rebecca) Smith. Granddaughters Briyana Smith, Annie Hatfield, and Kacie Gadberry. Grandson Kaiden Smith.

Very special girlfriend Jo Ann Smith. Ronald loved working on his farm and taking care of his animals. He enjoyed country music and dancing with his girlfriend Jo Ann.

Ronald enjoyed fishing, woodworking and if he could be outside or working with his hands he was. He liked to spend time with his girlfriend, family and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday December 1st from 12 until 2 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate.

The funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held at Merkle Funeral Home in Monroe MI starting at 12 PM Monday December 3rd with burial service at 4 PM in Roselawn Cemetery in La Salle MI.
