Obituary for Ronnie Hoskins Paul “Ronnie” Hoskins, age 72, of Pleasant View, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 1pm at Grace Baptist Church in Springfield with Brother Steve Freeman and Brother Bob Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are The Hardee’s and Douglas’ Breakfast Groups. Visitation will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4-8pm and on Friday at the church from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm. Mr. Hoskins was born April 23, 1946 in Greenbrier to the late Paul J. and Mary Rawls Hoskins.
He worked for the City of Springfield at the Water Treatment Plant, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Mr. Hoskins is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Hoskins. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Parker Hoskins; sons, Scott (Karen) Hoskins of Clarksville and Paul Wayne (Dawn) Hoskins of Hendersonville; daughters, Chanin Seiber of Adams, Selena (Robert) Poteete of Clarksville and Jennifer (Jerry) Moten of Bowling Green, KY; brothers, Tim (Jean) Hoskins of Amherst, NH and Ricky Hoskins of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Avery Nicole Hoskins, Cameron Joshua Hoskins, Jaxen Lee Moten, Katie Hoskins, Cameron Scott Hoskins, Zac Poteete and Alex Poteete.
