Obituary for Heuland Biggs Clarence Heuland Biggs, age 86, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Jerry Heflin and Brother Jeff Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with Caleb Reeder, Seth Traughber, Dylan Carter, Dawson Carter, Cole Dean, Kevin Dean and Bob Adcox serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10am until the hour of service at 2pm. Mr. Biggs was born September 1, 1931 in Springfield to the late Clarence David and Nancy Binkley Biggs. He worked as a truck driver, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Eastland Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Biggs is preceded in death by his sisters, Hettie Sedar and Lucille Adcox; daughter, Debbie Yeager; and his son, Bob Biggs. Mr. Biggs is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine “Snooky” Randolph Biggs; son, Michael Bruce Biggs of Springfield; step-sons, Ricky (Sharon) Crain and Royce (Lynette) Crain, both of Springfield; daughters, Nancy Elaine Sneed of Cedar Hill, Shelly Ford of Portland and Meleah Lynn (Lee) Carter of Smyrna; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
