Ronnie (Vern) Dean Gallman August 23, 1947 – January 30, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ronnie (Vern) Gallman Gaffney, SC – Ronald Dean (Vern) Gallman, 71, of 360 Covered Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Linda Cooper (Chubby) Gallman and son of the late Arthur Vanderbilt Gallman and Elsie Pinson Gallman. He retired from Broad River Electric Cooperative, loved fishing and hunting, and was a member of Skull Shoals Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Donald Gene Gallman of Gaffney; a daughter, Sandra Williams and husband, Bodean of Gaffney; a brother, Charlie Vanderbilt Gallman and wife, Jean of Mt. Airy, NC; a sister, Frances Simpson of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, Billy Williams and Staci Williams; one great-grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Ray Gallman, Eber Joe (E.

J.) Gallman and Donald Gene Gallman. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Mesopotamia United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: New Hope Baptist Church, “Building Fund”, 605 13th Street, Gaffney, SC 29340. The family will be at their respective homes. An online guest register is available at www.
