Rosa’s Obituary Rosa Blackwell Bryan, 80, of Mullins passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Horry County on June 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Travis Blackwell and the late Wyoming Inman Cox. Rosa was one of the kindest people you could ever meet.

She loved cats and especially her beloved cat, Sweetiepie. Rosa also enjoyed working in her yard. Rosa was predeceased, in addition to her parents, by her beloved husband, Ivy Bryan, by her son, Lamar Bryan, a sister, Shirley Inman, and her stepfather, Preston Cox.

She is survived by her nephew, Brian Inman (Corina) of Little River; a niece, Brenda Nixon (Tiny) of Little River; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Jones of Charleston. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Meares Funeral Home in Mullins. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial at Red Hill Memorial Gardens.
