Rosalie Elizabeth Talerico, 80, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro where she was a member. The family will greet friends following the service.

Mrs. Talerico was born in Pennsylvania on December 31, 1937 to the late Matthew and Agnes Zara. She was retired from JCPenny. She is survived by her loving husband, Philip S. Talerico; two daughters, Lisa Wells and husband, Buster of Goldsboro and Susan Best and husband, Stan of Goldsboro; one brother, Jay Zara and wife, Barbara of New York; one grandchild, Christopher Holloman of South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Talerico was preceded in death by her grandson, Billy Wells. The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
