OBITUARY Rose Marie Garcia August 30, 1942 – November 22, 2018 Rose Marie Garcia, age 76 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday evening, November 22, 2018 at the residence of her daughter in Cedar Hill. Rose was born on August 30, 1942 a daughter of Ignacio and Juanita (Herrera) Garcia. She is survived by two daughters: Tina Pereyda of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Jessica (husband Juan) Hernandez of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Five grandchildren: Melanie Pereyda, Nathan Pereyda, Mario Rodriguez, Marcus Rodriguez, and Noah Hernandez. Three great grandchildren: Andrew Velasquez, Natalie Hernandez, and Emma Macias. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Crawford, Gloria Smith, and Louise O’Connor.

She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Gabriel Pereyda who passed away on January 12, 2018. A visitation for Rose will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian burial for Rose will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Hill North Chapel. Entombment will follow at Calvary Hill Mausoleum. Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery in Dallas, Texas has charge of arrangements.
