OBITUARY Mr. Wylie S. Patterson February 24, 1929 – November 22, 2018 “Sonny” Patterson passed away November 22, in Dallas due to natural causes at the age of 89. He was born in the Rankin Community in Ellis County, Texas in 1929. He had two sisters, Helen and Joy Patterson.

After graduating from Gatesville High School in 1947, he moved to Ft. Worth and got a job as a Western Electric Installer. He was drafted into the Army in 1950 and served in Germany in the Army Signal Corps.

4th Division. After an Honorable Discharge he resumed working for WE in Dallas. There he met and married Leta Lou McLarry in 1954 and they raised two sons.

The family moved to Duncanville in 1965 and where he eventually retired from AT&T after 40 years of service. His wife Leta passed away in 2014. He is survived by his two sons and several grand kids and great grand kids.

Funeral Service will be held on November 29, 2018 at 2pm at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel with an hour prior visitation.
