Roselie Pope, 87, of Balko, OK passed away on Monday May 13, 2019 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, KS. She was born on June 24, 1931 to Samuel and Hilda (Meyers) Batt at Shattuck, OK. On March 31, 1950 she married Martin Pope at Boyd, OK; he preceded her in death on May 26, 2003.

Roselie was a graduate of Shattuck High School. Roselie loved living the country life! She enjoyed working cattle with her husband and helping on their homestead.

She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and spending time with her children. She was a member of Former Balko Lions Club member. Roselie is survived by her Two Sons- Terry Pope and Aleta of Balko, OK, Roy Pope and wife Patricia of Weatherford, OK; One Daughter- Kaylene Stewart of Winchester, TN; Three Brothers- Leland Batt, Paul Batt and, Sam Batt; Three Sisters- Charlotte Brooks, Mary Nichols and Pauline Ditto; Sister-in-law- Joan Howard; Seven Grandchildren; 15 Great Grand Children and several Nieces & Nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, One Brother- George Batt; One Sister- Marjorie Heil There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Crossroads Bible Fellowship Church at Bryan’s Corner, OK, with Pastor James Epp, officiating.
