Mrs. Rosie Lee Ward Valdes 72, of Bolton died Saturday, December 29, 2018. She was born July 30, 1946 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Roosevelt Jacobs and Martha Jane Freeman Jacobs. She was a member of Mt.

Sinai Holiness Church where she attended when her health allowed. She was once employed as manager of Handee Hugo’s in Riegelwood. She is survived by her husband, Esau Valdes; two daughters, Donna Demery of Bolton and Subrena Jacobs (Roy) of Whiteville; six grandchildren, Albert Demery (Brittany) of Fayetteville, Jared Demery of Bolton, Summer Jacobs of Pembroke, Jasmine Jacobs of Pembroke, Faith Jacobs of Whiteville, Alexa Lowery of Whiteville; three great grandchildren, Trystan Allen, Alyssa Demery, Kayleigh Demery; four sisters, Haleen Freeman and husband, Charles of Bolton, Eliza Jane Jacobs of Clinton, Ellen Freeman of Buckhead, Debra Jacobs and husband, Don of Buckhead; two brothers, Henry Jacobs and wife, Marilyn of Buckhead, Wilford Jacobs and wife, Donna of Buckhead.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lillian Lee, Lora Mae Jacobs, Lucy Jacobs and two brothers, Tony Jacobs and Ralph Jacobs. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, January 4, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church by Rev.

Mike Jacobs, Rev. Howard Jacobs and Rev. Eartle McNeill, Jr. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:30 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, Old Lake Rd. , Bolton, NC.
