Obituary for Roy Binder Roy A. Binder, age 89, passed away on Saturday September 22, 2018. He was born in Junction City, WI, to Adam and Regina Binder. He graduated from Messmer High School.

He married Lucille Bonerz on June 9, 1951 at Holy Redeemer. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Roy served in the US Army during the Korean War, after which he completed an electrical apprenticeship.

He worked as a journeyman IBEW electrician for 35 years. He played softball and bowled with the same group of friends for over 35 years, switching to golf when they retired to Phelps, WI. He was well loved and will be missed.

Roy is survived by his children Mary (Roger) Herrick, Richard, John (Deb); grandchildren Amy, David, Katie, Marla, Karen, Kellie, Ryan and Brittany, 13 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Faye Binder. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Lucille, brothers Norman and Don Binder, grandson Kenneth, great-grandson Jason, brothers-in-law C. Robert, James, and Joe Steppe, sisters-in-law Mary Steppe and Colleen Binder.

A Funeral Service for Roy will be held on Saturday September 29th, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church (W220N6588 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls, WI) at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of service at the church.
