Roy Clinton DeHosse, age 67, passed away suddenly in the early morning hours on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was born on July 7, 1951 in Kinglsy, Indiana to the late Walter Clinton DeHosse and Clara Jo Keasling DeHosse. On April 15, 1970, Roy enlisted into the United States Air Force.

During his service in the Air Force, Roy was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Roy was honorably discharged on February 15, 1974 at the rank of Sargent E-4. The memorial service celebrating Roy’s life is Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan.

Along with his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his brother, Walt DeHosse and sister, Danielle. Roy is survived by his wife, Tanya Mooney DeHosse; children, Jacob DeHosse, Troy DeHosse (Micki), Terry DeHosse (Tasha), Tracy Brown (Woody), Lindsey Hayes and Joshua Hayes. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
