Obituary for Roy D Nusbaum Roy Dean Nusbaum, age 94, of Yukon passed away Thursday Jan 10, 2019 in Yukon. He was born May 6, 1924 in Newton, Kansas and has been living in Oklahoma since the mid 1930’s where he attended Webster Jr High. He was active in the air force during WWII and received the Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Ribbon, and the American Theater Ribbon.

Roy had worked at AT&T in shipping, receiving, and as a clerk for 25 years before retiring. He became a member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City in 1951. Roy and his late wife, Edna had traveled extensively, enjoying many bus tours and had traveled to most of the states in the union and some places in Europe.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack Nusbaum. Survivors include sons Bob & wife Brenda of OKC, Larry & wife Sandy of OKC and Rickey & wife Donette of Newcastle, daughter Donna Eades & husband Tom of Yukon, brother Joe Nusbaum, 10 grandchildren & their spouses and 20 great grandchildren. His services will be held Wednesday Jan 16 at 1PM in the South Yukon Church of Christ with burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in OKC.
