Mr. Roy Davis Horsley, age 86, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on July 28, 1932 to Claude Swanson Horsley and Roberta Adeal Oaks Horsley. Mr. Horsley is loved and missed by all of his surviving family; one daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Horsley, two step-children, Julie Hall and Jimmy (Deborah) Branch; four brothers, Jack Horsley, Larry Horsley, Kenneth Horsley and JC Horsley; one sister, Ruth David; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his loving wife Geneva Harbour Horsley; father Claude Swanson Horsley and mother Roberta Oaks Horsley; son Roy Dennis Horsley, daughter, Teresa Barnett; stepdaughter, Rebecca Branch; brothers, Claude Horsley, Jr., Marvin Horsley and Willie Horsley.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at Tru-Way Baptist Church at 12 P.M. with Rev. Darrell Price officiating. Interment will follow Tru-Way Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday November 2, 2018 from 6 PM. to 8 PM at Cox Needham Funeral Home . Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.
