Obituary for Roy Holeston Roy Holeston, 85, of Morrisvale went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2018 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Ryan Holeston; his parents Elmer and Litha Holeston; brothers Edward, Arthur, and Clifford; and sister, Irene. He was a retired United Mine Worker and an Army Veteran serving in Germany.

He attended First Baptist Church of Woodville and Maple Hill Missionary Baptist Churches. Surviving are his daughter, Regina; son, Timothy; grandson, Brian; and sister, Ruth Stone, all of Morrisvale; and several nieces and nephews. We want to give special thanks to Susie Adkins who helped care for our loved one.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Darrell Searls officiating. Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey.
