Obituary for Roy Masaharu Kunimura Roy Masaharu Kunimura, 78, of Kaneohe, passed away at Pohai Nani on August 28, 2018. He was born in Koolaupoko, Hawaii on December 16, 1939 and was retired Foodland produce clerk and a member of the ILWU Hawaii. He also served as a paratrooper assigned to the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division from 1957-1959.

Roy is survived by wife, Marie Takao Kunimura; son, Daniel Kunimura; daughter, Cheryl (Scott) Nishiki; brothers, Kenneth (Lee) Kunimura and Donald (Jackie) Kunimura; granddaughters, Sierra Anne Nishiki and Makenna Marie Nishiki. Services for Roy will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
