Roy Pardue November 27, 1927 – March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card A service to honor the life of Mr. Roy Pardue will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Natchitoches.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Roy, 91 years of age passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, in Natchitoches, LA. He was born on November 27, 1927, to Columbus Pardue and Pearl Pardue Gray.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Clara Ann Gooden, Willie Mae Allen & Pearlie Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 72 years Benena Cox Pardue, three children Kayla Pardue Craig and husband Lloyd Craig of Franklin, TN, Darryl Pardue and wife Cindy Pardue of Natchitoches, LA and Pam Pardue Breedlove and husband Mike Breedlove of Natchitoches, LA. Eight grandchildren Kevin Craig (Monica) of Shreveport, LA, Brent Craig of California, Haley Stegall (Ernie) of Tulsa, OK, Corey Craig (Megan) of Brentwood, TN, Amber Pratt (Ted) of Brentwood, TN, Kurt Breedlove of Natchitoches, LA, Cody Pardue (Morgan) Bryceland, LA and Casey Harris (Kevin) of Natchitoches, LA.

Twelve great-grandchildren and one sister Gloria Garner of Shreveport, LA. Roy owned and operated Stephens Super Market for many years, after retirement he spent many years raising cattle. He was a hard worker providing a good life for his family.

He loved a good joke and was a prankster at heart. He graduated from Natchitoches High School and served in the Army after World War II. Those Honored to serve as pallbearer are his grandsons; Kevin Craig Brent Craig, Corey Craig, Cody Pardue, Kurt Breedlove, Kevin Harris, and Ted Pratt.
