Roy Thomas Dunbar, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Dunbar was born on October 7, 1953 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Mack Ray Dunbar and Betty Lucille Evans Dunbar. He worked for 12 years with Brown’s Poultry Farm, and he was of Christian Faith.

He is survived by three daughters ~ Betty Barfell of Kansas, Pamela Dunbar of Hopkinsville, KY and Cynthia Ellison of Riverton, KS; one son ~ Roy Thomas Dunbar, Jr. of Galena,… KS; two brothers ~ Dale Dunbar and William Ray Dunbar both of Dawson Springs, KY; six sisters ~ Shirley Vanhoose of OK, Marilyn Lewis of Princeton, KY, Betty Joyce Dunbar, Judy Gregg, Brenda Trotter and Janice Akin of Dawson Springs, KY; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife ~ Delores Pauline Dunbar, grandson ~ Trenton Dunbar, and one brother ~ Mack “Cub” Dunbar. Visitation for Mr. Roy Thomas Dunbar will be January 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev.

Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow at Old Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, KY. Family members will be pallbearers.
