Obituary for Roy Walling Bedenbaugh Roy Walling Bedenbaugh, WEST COLUMBIA – Roy Walling Bedenbaugh, 57, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 29th, 2018 in West Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on February 5th, 1960 in Statesboro, Georgia to Mahon “Sam” and Joellen Bedenbaugh. He was a mechanic, welder, and enjoyed being in the outdoors with his chickens and his garden.

He would spend time playing his guitar with friends. He was a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School. Roy is survived by his wife, Renee Gaskin; sister, Renee Baecker and brother Michael Bedenbaugh; nephew, Michael Bedenbaugh Jr.; nieces, Taylor Baecker and Olivia Bedenbaugh.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mahon “Sam” and Joellen Bedenbaugh. The family will receive friends at West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center located at 350 Watling Road, West Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday, February 4th, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Amedisys – Hospice Care nurses Tracey and “Que” for the care they provided.
