Funeral arrangments were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. A Rosary prayer service was held on Friday evening at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.

Viewing was held on Friday and Saturday at Gonzales Funeral Home. Ruben passed away on Friday March 8, 2019 in Lubbock, TX. He was born on October 6, 1940 in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico.

Ruben married Ramona Muniz in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico. Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Jesusa Baeza. Ruben enjoyed hunting and music.

He was the Caporal (Foreman on Cattle Ranch) for the ranch of Chon Prieto Rancho in Candelia, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Ramona Muniz Baeza of Lamesa, TX. ; his children, Ruben Baeza and wife, Marisela Salazar of Coyanosa, TX.

, Reynaldo Baeza and wife, Martha Ruiz of Coyanosa, TX. , Rosalba Baeza and husband, Cruz Torres of Lamesa, TX. , Lorena Baeza and husband, Carlos Leyva of Fort Stockon, TX.

, Zenaida Baeza and husband, Efren Acosta of Odessa, TX. , Leroy Baeza and Dina Gonzalez of Lamesa, TX. ; his brothers, Demetrio Baeza, Martin Baeza, Elijio Baeza, Manuel Baeza, and Jose Luis Beaza; his sisters, Paula Corrales and Carmen Benavente; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
